Sue Foster Interiors began life in 1977 when Sue Foster opened “Sue Foster fabrics” a shop in Portsmouth selling designer fabrics. In the ‘80s, Sue moved the business to Emsworth, setting up shop in a number of locations in the town centre, before moving into Queen Street in 2001.

In 2006 Chris and Vicky Gorton bought the business from Sue upon her retirement, when they moved back to the UK after various overseas postings with the Diplomatic Service.

The business expanded to become Sue Foster Interiors, and they established a workroom within the Queen Street premises. They soon outgrew Queen Street, and decided to separate the showroom from the workroom, moved the showroom to 51 High Street, and the workrooms to Emsworth Yacht Harbour.

In 2018 it was decided to also move the showroom over to the Yacht Harbour, and an additional workroom was created.

The ethos at the heart of Sue Foster Interiors has always remained to provide our customers with an exceptional personal experience, quality hand-made products and excellent value for money. We pride ourselves on giving the best possible customer experience, regardless of order size or value.
